How much is gas where you are now? |
|
I filled up yesterday, and the 87 octane was $1.999/gallon (and what is with the 9/10ths of a cent? Just call it 2 friggin bucks, would ya?).
Anyway, just curious as I've heard there's decent fluctuation across the ole US of A. I'm in Tampa, BTW.
I know I might get more feedback in GD, but I don't know how much "damn those cock-mongering weasel assed bastards" I can take this early on a Monday.

3. It's been fluctuating quite a bit around here. |
|
Gas prices always go up on Thursdays, usually by 10 cents or more. Thursday and Friday it was $2.19.9 for the 87 octane, then it went down to $2.09.9. This is in southwest Michigan.
Across the border in Indiana, gas was $1.97.9 on Saturday for the 87 octane.

The shell was closed, so I used the co-op, which offers a cash discount.
regular was $1.999/ $1.969 cash. Premium was $2.19/ $2.169 cash. Diesel was $2.19, I think.
I'm so glad our car gets 42 miles to the gallon.

You might find it a little lower on the outskirts. But I've seen as high as $2.35. A 3-cent per day jump was common last week.
I commute frequently between Miami and Las Vegas and the relationship between gas prices makes zero sense. On January 10, I flew back to Vegas and regular unleaded was $1.75 all over the place. In Miami, it had been averaging maybe $1.81. Two months later, Las Vegas has soared 50+ cents, while according to my friends/relatives in Miami, the price there is slightly over 2 bucks, in the $2.03 range.
