I haven't watched in several months and I think I am up to snuff on what's going on, except for one thing. What is Sami doing disguised as a guy?

Apparently her craving for revenge has provoked her to join with an unknown Allies (Tony DeMera) who has provided her with her cover (guy disguise) and means to defeat all who have opposed her. It seems her first mission is to get John's addiction to drugs to progress to the point that he loses all control.

don't be embarrassed though. It's harmless fun. I started watching Days back when I was six years old. Or I should say my grandmother had me watch it with her when I spent my summers in Indiana. I have kept up with it ever since.

she is part of the twin duo of Eric and Samantha. Of course Samantha is named for Marlena's twin sister Samantha, who was a victim of the Salem Strangler!

Apparently a few people died and went to a stupid exact copy of Salem called Melas, which is Salem backwards. Tony was behind it, seeking revenge for something stupid again. I only flip back and forth. You might go to MSN Groups and see if there's a DAYS dedicated group, or google it and find show guides. But, like I said, you haven't missed much.
