16. Honestly, I trust Putin more

I haven't been able to keep up as much with Russia since I left school, but my impression is you knew what you were getting in Putin. He was always going to try to consolidate his power, and keep it from the people. At least that was my impression. He also knows that Bush has taken America backward in foreign policy, so he has exploited that to his advantage.

18. The Russian People

have been oppressed for so long that I'm not really sure they know how to. Dating back to the time of the czars, they never had freedom, so they do not even have any historical basis to go on. That being said, it only takes one person or, better, one group of people in one region of the country to stand up. Can it happen, theoretically, yes. Will it happen, I give it about as much chance as LSU sweeping the men's and women's NCAA basketball tourneys
