9. Hazelnuts
definitely the most versatile nut there I can think of...Incidentally, hazelnuts and filberts are just different names for the same nut...

11. Cashew - 2nd choice would be Red Skelton
.
.
.

Picasso once said that he had spent his entire life trying to recapture the innocence and sensitivity of a child.

Red Skelton never lost it.

14. I like cashews but the rest of the family favors macadamias
I won't go into too many details about how I started disliking macadamia nuts but suffice to say it involves a two-year-old eating tons of them and me changing her diaper afterward.

15. I can eat pistacios and cashews by the ton--
but I'm going with the almonds. It's the pleasant way they turn up in different places--Almond Joys. Jordan Almonds--really, what's a wedding without? Smoked almonds--oh my god, I love smoked almonds--the Blue Diamond ones in the lil' bitty mini-bar cans? Chicken Almond Ding. Slivered over desserts. Tucked into figs. Flavoring a liquor. Hersheys with Almonds....

18. Love them but not eat them much
Though I married someone who is allergic to them. So I have them occasionally, like in cereal and a few random snacks.

The nut allergy comes in handy when I want to make cookies or some other dessert. This is when want him hands off the few I've reserved for myself, else he'll eat every confounding one! I make his batch of stuff, and with the leftovers I put in my nut for the day.
