4. OH yeah. She's a troublemaker, all right.
But she's turning into one of the most beautiful cats I've ever seen. She has the body and shape of a purebred Siamese. It's unbelievable. One of our other cats, from the same feral family, has the big, solid, muscular body of the average tomcat -- but the blue eyes and complete coloring of a sealpoint Siamese. Genetics are fascinating!

9. My rescue tortoiseshell calico gave birth to three kittens about two years

ago. The male is cinnamon colored with gold eyes and absolutely beautiful filled-out but sleek build. One female had Siamese markings. We gave her to a local vet who tells me that she is one FAT cat. And the other female cat is mostly gray with with white booties, white on her neck and belly. She was slightly deformed in one shoulder, so we decided to keep her from the start. This cat has an extremely triangular face of the newer Siamese (as opposed to the apple face of the classic Siamese) and very slim sleek body. Her eyes and ear appear almost too large for her face. She is also just as vocal as the full-blooded Siamese cats I've had in the past.

Genetics are indeed fascinating.

19. I wish I understood genetics.
How one cat in a line can have Siamese coloring but not the build, and another the build but not the coloring... amazing.

Do you have any pics?

you'd never know from her baby pictures what she was going to grow into! Her face shape is fantastic, she looks very exotic with her build and coloring.

13. I had been wondering about that!
Thanks!

My kitty has a partial M on her forehead, and a funny little partial "Meow" to go with it. She's mostly Maine Coon, but there's plenty of other stuff in her.

21. Oh my Goddess!
How do you stay off insulin? That is one sweet looking kitty. Beautiful! :loveya:

And just because everyone is sharing. This is my mom's cat "Baby Kitty." We found him 13 years ago in my dads boat. He was only a few days old and the mom was nowhere to be found. We hand fed him and he grew up in to a beautiful Tonkinese cat with a bad attitude. I kid my mom that he's so mean because he's pissed about his name. :D The other kitty is Willie May.
