13. I am gonna be buying the special edition soon |
|
Ive had the double sided version and to be frank it kinda sucks because it freezes easily, that could because my brother loves to show the movie off to his friends, especially his favorite parts. I love the acting, story, the music, and just the whole movie, its awesome.

9. What is Ray Liotta doing? He's a really great actor. |
|
Edited on Thu Mar-24-05 08:44 PM by NNadir
He did a film with Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith called "Something Wild" in which he stole the show.

10. I dont know but I feel he deserved an oscar for his role as Henry Hill |
|
According to what I just read, Jeremy Irons won the oscar for a movie called "Reversal of Fortune", I never saw it but I think Liotta was amazing as Hill and he wasnt even nominated. I like Liotta too, he played George Jung(Johnny Depp)'s father in blow and did a good job in that too.

...just a few days ago. Airplane disaster movie where he plays a psychopathic serial killer, and did an amazing job.

15. Isn't it the song from Performance? |
|
with Mick Jagger -- 'Memo from Turner' with a searing guitar solo by Ry Cooder -- it is a great scene with a choice tune. Possibly the best Cooder solo and defintitely the best Jagger (sans Stones) though they never get to vocal in the Goodfellas edit. A friend of mine nearly went nuts trying to figure out where it came from and I slipped on the Performance soundtrack to see him melt with satisfaction (small 's')

17. That was such an inspired use of the song "Layla." |
|
I loved it! Scorsese has always been great with fitting the tunes to the scenes in his movies.
