40. The emotions of the fans were understandable |
|
Last night 90% of the fans were pissed at the guy.
This morning, 90% of the fans were hinestly sorry for the guy because after a night's sleep, they realized they would have done the same thing if they had been in his position.

47. But the Gonzales error screw up happened after the lost catch |
|
The entire momentum changed after the lost catch and there's a very good reason for that.
The crowd went silent. That had a dramatic effect when you're playing with home field advantage.
I think today, 90% of the fans are more pissed off at themselves than anything else, tonight.

49. I know all about momentum |
|
the answer to that is too keep your composure and stay focused, how did the Colts come from behind 3(or is it 4) touchdowns in 5 minutes? These players a paid professionals which means they are payed to make plays others can't, I seen teams allow 3 runs but keep their composure and make the play when it needs to be made. So why is it the fans fault for for Gonzales making the error? Give me a better answer then "momentum"

54. It's not that single fan's fault |
|
It's the cumulative fault of every fan in the stadium.
After the lost catch (which 99.999% of anybody else in the guy's position would have done the same thing), the fans stopped supporting the players.
If the fans had shrugged it off and continued cheering them on, the psychological effect on the team would have been nowhere near as dramatic.
It was not a single fan's fault, it was the fault of 40,000 fans collectively.

He'll make some cash from the talk shows and will still be fine in Chicago.
Being vilified for two innings in a playoff game will end up being a cash cow for him.
On top of that, he's one of the most devoted Chicago fans in the city.

Cubs better score 3 or 4 more if they want a nice cushion for the rest of the game. A 2 run lead against Florida will not hold.

93. Simon like Sosa is trying for the fences instead of getting on base. |
|
Sammy wasted his last AB being careless and going for the long ball. Simon just did the same thing. C'mon Cubbies you need baserunners!

This means that Fox is going to lose millions of $$$ Because there's probably only about 12 people who give a shit about the Marlins.
