I am still on my workout program after nearly two weeks! |
|
Laugh all you want, but this is an accomplishment for me. I have been trying for probably a year or two, and I can never manage to stay on the program long enough to improve my lifting weight. This time may be different however!

I remember all too well the strange looks I can get sometimes or the pig calls behind my back or the rejection from women because of my weight. But I've turned the anger I feel to a more positive use than just boiling my blood. I'm sticking with my walking to lose weight and build endurance. I've got an inexpensive weight set that I use for toning. It's 120# max for the barbell. But that's plenty for me right now.
Congrats on the accomplishment!

4. It's probably great for the dog, as well! For both of you! |
|
My dog had surgery, last week, but I'll have to get her out, as the weather gets better. She loves to go out, so thanks for the reminder. This would be good for both of us.:-)

I too have struggled for years with the same thing. I think I'm finally on the right track - but it has been only two days!
"They" say it takes about 28 days to break a bad habit, so it should work for good habits too! Two more weeks and you won't be able to quit!
