I almost started a thread about my aching knee in GD...
...good thing I realized it wasn't worth posting before I hit Post (and then realized I wasn't in the Lounge). But since I'm here anyway... it hurts like the dickens!!

1. I hear ya...my right one has been blown out dozens of times.
Finally had the surgery, that made it quite a bit better. Still aches when I exert it, though. I am disappointed I can't tell the weather by it, I wanted that benefit of getting older. LOL.

My right knee is aching -- I blame my new favorite torture device:

8. JJ's been inspiring me
I'm a terribly competitive person, so if she tells me she burned 500 calories in 38 minutes, I have to try and beat her. :P

10. I bumped it a few days ago while I was stupidly moving furniture...
but it only started hurting last night. I suppose ibuprofen is the secret for now...

Love your torture device... I'll be setting up my treadmill and my recumbant bike right next to my desk in the new house.

17. Ibuprofen is my friend
Ibuprofen and ice.

So is your house empty now? I picture you sitting on the floor in front of a laptop propped up on a cardboard box...

20. Fortunately no...
My ex is keeping whatever we bought together and her own stuff, so, though the dining room, living room, spare bedroom, study and exercise room are empty now... there's still some furniture. Right now, I'm sitting on the lanai by the swimming pool, enjoying my last few days of Florida.

Now that other picture might just happen on the other side. I am hoping that my furniture arrives on schedule, but not going to worry about it now.

:hi:

(and I just took a couple of ibuprofen... )

7. you'd have had to edit the subject line for it to stay in GD...
"Terry Schiavo, my knee hurts"

or

"I stubbed my knee on the PNAC coffee table"

or

"Shrub kicked me in the knee cap, that bastard!"

9. My left knee has been sore for 5-6 weeks now.
I start each day with some ibuprofen. Most days it helps.

Hurt it doing leg curls at the gym. Should have stuck with only running like I've done for the past 10 years.

No more weight machines for me.

hope you feel better. Ibuprofen is the "food of the gods" as far as I am concerned, especially since age and experience seem to mean more aches and pains. Hope your move is going well!
