I am addicted to black Jelly Bellys

I have a little candy jar full of them on my desk and they're just so darn good!!! I like a lot of the flavors but the black ones are the best. My tongue is now black. I think I need an intervention.

5. Black jellybeans are not meant for human consumption.

They are included in bags of jellybeans only as a deterrent against pests. Years ago people got confused for some reason and started eating them. The brain damage that resulted unfortunately caused them to think they were actually edible, thus the so-called "appeal" of the black jellybean.

except I haven't seen peanut butter Jelly Belly's in years. I can't stand the popcorn ones, and am considering a petition to have them, along with the bubble gum and the tutti frutti removed from the 40 flavors mix.

I found him these satanic M&M's once from Europe. They were liquorice covered M&M's with milk chocolate in the middle.

Of course, my dad grew up during the depression without refridgeration, so hard candies and plugs of liquorice were about the extent of his candy habits growing up, but he's still a freak for anything anise flavored.

and both of his parents were British, so i'm sure that's where the obsession started. Thanks for the candy link, but he has his own private stash of allsorts, bitter nips and even plug liquorice (like a turn of the century tobacco rope plug).

It's a wonder my mom could stand him so long.
