Just wondering, because I have floated a couple threads, one started yesterday and one floated today raising a couple important issues.

One had a very low response, about 14 replies over 2 days.

The other, has had ZERO response.

Just wondering if its just me, because it seems to me that other threads have been doing just fine.

7. I have had four posts deleted. I'm not sure why. In each the

content was questioning the validity of religious orthodoxy. Primarily, I viewed the re erection of Jesus as a scam. That statement got deleted. I'm very disappointed with DU. I thought it was a last bastion of free speech. It obviously isn't.

Someone called us jackels waiting for the kill (of Terry Shaivo) and I wondered why he was not in Iraq!? I perhaps went a bit to personal--but it was in response to being called a jackel!

9. I'm pretty much sick of the TS threads

I come here to get the news and opinions that the msm doesn't tell us about, and this whole TS thing has turned into a circus. It's taking away from some really important shit going on.

11. I am alarmed that several of my posts have been deleted.

I used no bad language. My transgression was to strongly question some Christian dogma. That's it. Posts deleted. If we can't express honest dissent about anything on DU, where then can we go? If the Christians, who have already taken over the govt. have also taken over the Democratic Underground, then we are far worse off than I had previously thought.

Here's hoping the the deletes were just an anomaly. By the way, I was debating with a person who was as he put it, "a man of faith". He said lots of very rough things to me. But, none of his posts were deleted, nor should they have been.

13. I would point you toward the ATA forum.

They may be able to give you the reason why they were deleted, and replace them if they were deleted in error.

views about religion. Simple as that. Thanks for the suggestion though.
