My daughter and the "true symbol of Easter" (might be offensive, so...) |
|
A couple of years ago, my then 8 year old daughter drew a nice picture at school and titled it "Which is the true symbol of Easter?" The drawing was of a bunny and an egg. LOL!!!!!! Sorry if folks find that offensive, but it made me belly-laugh for 10 minutes. We don't really do religion around here, so I had no problems with it. She has grandparents who would flip out though.

I think your daughter is precious though! I would have gotten a good belly chuckle over that picture upon seeing it.

I don't see why that would be offensive. Both Christians and non Christians have seriously asked that question in regards to commercializm of religious holidays.

8. Yeah, but they're usually serious about it and mad that it's been... |

commercialized in such a way.
This, on the other hand, was an 8 year old who had no concept of the actual story of Easter. :)
