28. I thought it was pretty good
I watched it with the girlfriend though the ending was a bit contrived.

30. Now if you need another chick flick down the road
I totally and utterly reccomend the movie "A Price Above Rubies" with Renee Zellwegger. It was an excellent film and I am tempted to buy it.

10. I know - sometimes I lose my mind and have to read something
totally trashy. Not often. But did enjoy this jerky love story.

8. I don't get it...
everyone I know cried at that movie.

When I saw it, I ended up laughing hysterically through the entire thing with one other friend, while everyone else bawled. But, then again, I never cry at movies.

13. I'm no critic, but if this has to do with an
older couple in a nursing home, I thought the book was charming.

24. I cried too
I thought the end where they died together was a bit contrived, then found out from people who had read the book that it was. But when she recognized him, OMG, I bawled and bawled. And I hardly ever cry at movies anymore. Even my DH cried at that one.

My son-in-law gave the book to my daughter for a Valentine's Day present and said that is how he felt about her. That was before the movie had even come out. What a guy, huh?
