It's quite embarrasing, but it only takes around one and a half bottles of beer (and even less with more powerful stuff) for me to get completely wasted. I'm such a lightweight, but it's also more economical that way.

So yeah, everytime I think I'm just going to have a little, I'm totally sloshed by the end of it. Like right now. Hoo boy.

6. three is my limit for wine or beer. two is tipsy.
for liquor, two is probably enough...unless it's tequila, I can drink four shots before I am drunk, sometimes five.

I love don julio the best, btw...yummy tequila!

7. It depends...

...on an empty stomach, if I have a few drinks/beers I'm done.

Under normal conditions drinking normal beers, I can drink a six pack or a whole pitcher before I pass the buzz stage and become "drunk".

Gotta be that Irish Catholic and German heritage.

For Oklahoma beers (three cheers for the right-wing lobby - half the alcoholic content) you buy outside of bars and liquor stores - I can drink it all night and feel nothing - 8, 12, even 15 of them and I'm walking straight as an arrow and articulate as ever.

Worst. Law. Ever.

I feel more and more like I'm living in a parallel universe of sterile, God-fearing Puritans - especially since moving back from my true home on the east coast.

I hate this place.

Yah... I have those Irish genes. Takes forever to get me properly sloshed.

10. Once...
I have a story related to drinking that amount of wine. I was at a gallery opening for a couple friends and they served crappy jug wine. I just drank and drank and drank and realized that I had consumed at least the equivalent of a bottle of this stuff in less than an hour.

Upon realizing this, I started feeling really sick/drunk and decided to go catch a train.

While "sitting" in the urine-smelling subway station (can't really call it sitting, because sitting is a stationary activity) after 25 minutes had passed I began to wonder. Trains were supposed to come every 30 minutes, I think. Then a train came the other direction - can't be long now.

10 minutes later. Swaying a little more. Another train passes, the other direction. 20 more minutes. A THIRD train passes the other direction. I was getting worried now. Finally, after about an hour a train came my way.

I barely got home in time to hug some porcelain. Not a fun night - and the next day was even worse.

12. Hmm.
Well, I usually feel a little buzzish after two or three, drunk after six or eight. Hammered after twelve.

I usually do tequila shots and beer. Wheat.
