Question about EINSTEIN'S passing |
|
I need opinions on whether I should cremate him or bury him in my friends backyard. Unfortunately my friend is out of town until Saturday. If I choose that where do I put Einstein until then? May sound silly but can I bury him in a BIG potted plant and keep him in my apartment?

1. Most vets offer a plan where you can |

cremate them and keep them in a cedar box. It's about $120.00

And no to the potted plant.
You could put him in the freezer or on (dry) ice if you decide to go w/your friend's back yard.
Really sorry for your loss~

3. I would contact the vet's office |
|
and ask if they could cremate and give you the ashes, if you want. A friend of mine has the ashes of her cat. That way you could have some rememberance in your apartment.

4. I had both my dogs cremated |
|
And they are in urns on my desk. I had no land of my own on which to bury them and I'd want to be able to visit their graves perpetually were I to take that route. I think probably I will have them buried with me when I go.

5. I thought you meant Albert. April 18 is the 50th anniversary of his death. |

creamtion is nice. we put our kitty neptunes ashes next to a picture of him in our house and it's really comforting. but i also think maybe you could make a little memorial site where you would have buried him. it's always nice to have an outside spot to relax and reflect on the wonderful relationship you shared with einstein.

7. Personally, I would cremate and keep his ashes. That way if you ever |
|
move, you can take him with you.
Hope this helps.

my cousin shipped her 21 year old cat back home on dry ice. i wouldn't pot him inside, he might start to smell. so sorry for your loss. but just an oppotunity to meet a new pet personality.
i got 2 spares after my last cat passed unexpectedly. i spare right now on puter with tail swishing back and forth in front of monitor.

9. if you decide to bury him here's what to do in the meantime: |
|
Put him in the freezer. Don't bury him in your house. The state you find him in when you move him will make you cry.
