ARGH! Stupid newsmonkey cut-in! I need a couple "LOST" spoilers |
|
The local blow-dried weatherboy cut in for about two minutes right before the very end of the show. (Apparently there are thunderstorms headed our way, but after weeks of no new episodes, they could've just done the alert sound followed by a text crawl across the bottom of the screen, goddamnit!)
:grr:
**Spoiler request follows. If you haven't seen the show yet, y'been warned.**
The interruption started right as Locke got Boone back to camp and Jack told Kate to gather shirts/towels and rejoined right after Locke woke up in the hospital with his biological father having apparently deserted him after a successful kidney transplant surgery. Locke was saying, "He can't do this to me!" right after guest star Swoosie Kurtz said, "I'm sorry, John."
So what'd I miss?

a light from INSIDE the pod showed through the window piece.

back right after he woke up... he went to his father's house, and the guard at the gate refused to let him in. I missed a little between that and the light... does anyone know if they showed how he was paralyzed? Did he crash?

5. no clue as to the cause of the paralysis, yet. But did you see that his |
|
mother, Swoozie Kurtz, told him that his father had paid her to make contact? That the father had known where he was all along? The island is almost parental in his view. Next time: It's baby time!

Wow--I didn't see the part where Locke's mother admitted that his father paid her to make contact with him.
Life away from the island seems to have really sucked for Locke. (Betrayed by his mother and father, stuck in a dead-end job, being told that he can't go into the Australian outback because he's in a wheelchair, etc.) It's a wonder he wants to leave it.
Edit: his dad betrayed him, too.

4. he went back to the mansion but was not allowed entry by the |
|
sympathetic guard, Eddie, who also said "I'm sorry, John." He was still bleeding from the kidney gash. He had a cathartic scream in the VW Bug as the music welled
The preview for next week still sees Boone struggling to survive, and blonde girls screaming...and the light did go on in the time machine/space capsule/small nuclear energy plant-what ever that thing is...
