Poll question: Pre-baby boomers, who was President when you were born? |
|
I know we did this before, but I wanted to shake it up a bit, and divide by generations. Participation in this poll/thread is your punishment for having to share bandwidth space with a history major. :D

1. You're missing a tiny sliver - |

Harry Truman.
He was FDR's vice-president, and took over as President in April, 1945, when FDR died.
The wars ended a few months later.

4. Hey there, CubsFan1982, |
|
I don't feel a bit punished; I too was a history major (briefly though) in college, before I switched over to foreign languages! I still love history, though the period we're in doesn't make me very happy. Wonder what the unexpurgated history books will say about this time in the future? lol
