I could see he had a little movement but the cold air doesn't support the knuckleball dynamics. He should have pulled Pedro after Jeter's lucky double but.... hey hindsight's 20-20.

could have pitched two or three. The trouble with Wakefield is a knuckleballer is prone to the occasional spinner. Not a problem in a nine inning game, but not so good in sudden death. There's a reason relievers tend to be hard throwers.
And, to pile on, Pedro's history clearly suggested Timlin start the eighth inning.
I'm so sick of this.
