I detest the Springer show on tv but love him on Air america |
|
I never thought I would actually enjoy listening to him on the radio because I despise the whole concept of his television show. But he is very compelling on the radio. Which makes it all the harder for me to understand how he can justify the crap on the tube.

3. Don't like his show either |

but it made him incredibly rich (richer) and if he now can use that money and recognition to push progressive thinking, good for him.

But at this point I'm willing to let almost anybody do anything if they oppose *. Well, let me rephrase that. No forget it. I do have principles though. Maybe Springer isn't the best. Oh hell, what do I know?

9. If the Fundies can forgive Bush...we can forgive Springer. |

They are equally vile and disgusting. I'm referring to Springer's show...not his rhetoric.

Uhmmm, that should get us some votes,:puke: he sold out a long time ago, which is more of a Republican trait.

8. What IS his justification for the TV show? |
|
Has he ever addressed this issue? (I can't believe he hasn't, but I've never heard about it.) What does he say about it?

where he said that it wasn't meant to be anything but entertainment, and if viewers weren't entertained then they should switch the channel. The couple of times when I was somewhere where the show was on and I had no control of the channel, I noticed that some of the guests were obviously mentally retarded, and it really was disturbing to watch. It was like the circus in the old days...taking advantage of people who were born different. Like I said, even though I enjoy his radio show, I find it hard to see how he can justify the other.
