It has been pouring for hours.

And of course, I have a morning meeting at work, 50 miles away, over a winding mountain road.

This is getting old. We got a great tease of spring last week, and now this.

...keep it up north. Down here in SoCal, I just got done ripping out the drywall ceiling that got ruined in the last deluge. (Not as bad as it could be. It's in the garage level of the condo.)

Week before last, we not only got HEAVY rain but thunderstorms. Lightning took out a transformer, leaving me and 10,000 other people without power for nearly 2 days.

but that usually means tahoe got some snow, so that makes me happy. I am getting sick of the pinging on my a/c's. If I remember my first spring here (last year) it had already stopped raining by now, and didn't rain again until November, right? so this is unusual I assume.
