...I was having fun looking through the pictures on mulletsgalore.com when the photos of that wedding came up. In the pictures afterward, people are actually pouring champagne onto the breasts of topless women stretching themselves on the tables.
What the heck kind of people are these to have a wedding like that??? :7

9. What a waste of champagne |
|
unless it was Frexinet or Cook's or some other cheap shit. I did look at some of the topless woman pix-hey call me old fashioned, but if the guy I just married smashed cake on my face-instant annulment! But this naked chick crap-I think I'd have to hunt down the dirty dogs (sorry, dogs) who did that to my wedding and hurt them badly.

or even the mother or the rest of the guests. That would put things in proper perspective.

14. Reminds me of a couple of quotes -- one in particular -- |
|
"I think on-stage nudity is disgusting, shameful and damaging to all things American. But if I were 22 with a great body, it would be artistic, tasteful, patriotic and a progressive religious experience."
Actress Shelley Winters (1922 - )

5. I think the storefront in the first pic is in Greek. |
|
So this wedding is either in Greece or New York City. I'm sure many of their customs seem strange to us.
Gives whole new meaning to My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

16. We're trying to figure that out -- see clues in photos -- |
|
Someone said there is a Greek word in the business across the street in the first photo (anyone know Greek?)
"Hotel Palace" is visible in several other photos. There is a hotel by that name in Prague, and a couple in Italy -- don't know about Greece.
Any Greek speakers here?

The sign looks like "ABOGERA". Don't know what it means, but it definitely looks like a gamma in there.
Also, the design of the HOTEL PALACE sign looks Greek, with the olive thingies, like an olympic athlete might wear, and, when I first looked at that HOTEL PALACE sign, I immediately thought "Oh, it's in Greek", then realized it wasn't. And the word on the bottom of that sign, which throughout all the pictures is always covered so I can't see the whole thing, DOES look to have greek characters.
Also, the church is very ornamented, and looks very Catholic or Orthodox, and I would say it's a much better bet that it's Orthodox (based on the ornamentation) than Catholic. And in Greece, Orthodox is the rule. So that's a good possibility.

Which I suspect may be Greek for "apothecary" or drugstore (The Russian word "Apteka" with a pi for the letter p is similar...)
-SM, who until viewing this post thought all weddings were dreary and boring...

18. Oh, to be white trash with just enough income to use a tacky hotel |
|
for your reception instead of a tacky VFW or Knights of Columbus alcoholic-binge hall, and to decorate your SUV instead of your raised Ford F-150, and to wear a better rented tux than most mullet-wearing filth, and then have your bride strip naked while your beer-swilling barely literate friends and family watch while smoking name-brand cigarettes (no generics for this wedding WHOOP WHOOP!) and drinking Miller Genuine Draft (no cheap beer for this wedding! We bought entire BARRELS of it!).
I will say this, though - they are much better dressed (wedding party and guests) than the vast majority of white trash. Most of them look quite nice.
And that's a fairly good looking set of bridesmaids.
