Poll question: 70s AM radio hits, or a kick in the nuts?
Edited on Fri Apr-08-05 10:59 AM by giant_robot
Ladies, I'm granting you metaphorical nuts for the purposes of this poll.

2. "Skyrockets in flight....afternoon delight...."
I'd rather get a shot to the nads than hear that smarmy piece of crap. Now, I cannot get it out of my head. Thanks for allowing that song to haunt my psyche.

3. I vote for the tunes. I grew up with 'em. I like the sense of nostalgia.
And I LIKE "Afternoon Delight!" It's a fun song.

9. "....Run, Joey, run, Joey, run, Joey, run!!!!!...."
I listen to a '70's internet radio station.

To the casual observer, this may seem pathetic. But to those of us who like 70's tunes.....

Meh. It's pathetic. But I like it anyway....

*clicks on next topic whilst humming "Eres Tu" by Mocedades...*

10. Hey, it looks like there was a rush of support
from '70's AM radio fanatics.

Apparently the morning crowd likes being kicked in the nuts, and the afternoon crowd likes to mellow out to Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods. I'm proud that DU is a place that both groups of proud Amer'kuns can come together and take part. :patriot:

(And I just wanted an excuse to use that smilie...)

13. Yet, as of this posting, 40% of DUers responding to this poll
would rather take a hard kick to the goodies than listen to 70s AM hit music. Still, I bet Chimpy would kill for poll numbers like that right now.

I got the feeling that something ain't right,
I'm so scared in case I fall off my chair,
And I'm wondering how I'll get down the stairs,
Clowns to the left of me,
Jokers to the right, here I am,
