I just heard a radio station give a week's trip to Cuba as a prize |
|
in a contest.....This was on a Canadian radio station of course....I was listening to it while I did the dishes and couldn't help but think how such a thing is impossible in the U.S.A.....Forbidden!...and yet you are quite free to visit right wing dictatorships, such as Saudi Arabia, etc....Lots of hypocracy there as I'm sure most of you agree.....

go on vacation to Saudi Arabia. Still, giving China the 'most favored nation' status in trade and still banning trade with Cuba is at best, ridiculous.

2. America allows its folks to go, Saudi doesn't always let them in |

Unless you're working there (i.e., the oil industry), or your muslim you can pretty much forget it.
Holidays are totally out of the question - a university chum's parents lived (and worked) there, even then he had loads of bother getting a visa.
