but use the cheapest version of cream cure for athletes foot or jock itch you can find. wash and dry daily or twice even and rub in a little cream. Should be gone in a couple weeks.

I used it several years ago on a ringworm on my abdomen. Knocked it out in two weeks.

It was a long time ago, and I think I decided it was somewhat impractical, it involved soaking for maybe 20 minutes twice-a-day, then drying. This went on for several days, maybe a week.
It did work. I made my own 3-6% from 35% industrial grade, it's relatively cheap that way.
OTC cream or spray is probably more convenient.
I don't know if it would work for ringworm, though; I think athlete's foot is a type of ringworm--
