Has anyone chaperoned a prom? |
|
I'm trying to decide if I can handle it. My own high school prom was cancelled because too few bought tickets in time. Not that I cared.
Teachers need to do some of these activities as part of our jobs.
I know it's important to the kids, but I think it's too expensive and too over-hyped.
Or am I just old?

Bring your SO, and dance a couple of dances with him.
Yes, it is expensive and over-hyped.
I have chaperoned dances, but not prom. I had fun doing it, and no problems.

Your puppy would probably get bored quickly. Poor thing. Leave it at home.
