Pardon me while a vent. My boss is a major procrastinator,
which has driven me batty since I've been working at my job (been there six years in August). So, we have a deadline for a business proposal at 4:00 tomorrow. When I first found out about the possibility of going after the contract, I gave it to him (this was on March 28); after hounding him at least four times since then, via emails, in person, etc., I finally nail him down and he gives me the go-ahead to pursue THIS PAST WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON! So, I have to haul ass to call consultants, get materials together, etc. Usually, from getting the "go" decision to getting a draft together, it takes me 3-4 days; I had a draft to him Friday evening. He comes in on the weekends, and said he'd call me yesterday (Sat.) to let me know how the draft looked and would drop it off at my house (we don't live far from each other (unfortunately). He mentioned I would probably need to come in on Sunday (wouldn't have to do this if jackass hadn't waited until the last fucking minute...but there we are.

I left a voice mail at the office at 1:00 PM yesterday with a few questions/comments about the draft and to let him know I had a few errands to run, but my husband would be home should he come by. While I was out, I called the house at least 3 times to see if the boss had called. No. Well, did he call at all yesterday? NOPE!

This morning, I got up and called his house at 11:15 AM. No fucking answer. I called the office. No answer. WTF?
