Do Pizza Delivery Boxes Go in Recycle or Not? |
|
My constant quandry:
Pizza boxes are usually grease stained, so to my understanding they shouldn't go in the recycle bin. So I cram them in my garbage bin which is a pain in the ass.
But it doesn't seem to stop anyone else - I always see them in OTHER people's recycle bins.
So what's the deal - recycle or not?

3. Depends (not the Johnson & Johnson product) |

Back home, my recycler refused 'em for years, but early in 2004 changed their policy. I never knew quite why, but they began accepting a wider range of all sorts of things (no longer required you to read the recycling code on plastic bottles, f'rinstance).
Check with your local recycler.

5. They don't accept them for recycling where I live |

You should call waste management and ask them.
