Most annoying invention EVER!

A 25-year-old Massachusetts Institute of Technology student has invented a revolutionary alarm clock 'clocky,' in this undated photo, that falls to the floor and rolls away on the first push of the snooze button. To turn it off, a person must get out of bed and find it. The clock features two rubber wheels and is covered in thick, 1970s-style shag carpet and other material to cushion it when it tumbles to the floor.

1. Or, you could just...
...set the alarm clock far, far away from you where you can still hear it.

Well, it worked for me, anyway.

7. Right, but if you do that you have to get up immediately
With Clocky, you get one snooze and then you're forced to get up. I bet with the deluxe version of Clocky you'll be able to select a certain number of snoozes before the thing moves away. It really amazes me that civilization has functioned at all without the availability of this miracle product...

3. Well, that certainly beats...
...derby378's patented 500psi bidet that plays the Marine hymn every time you use it. I affectionately named it the Asster Blaster.

Good times, good times...

10. Ugh, no thanks.
My alarm clock is annoying enough. The beeping is a certain tone that is simliar to that used by other devices, and whenever I happen to hear a sound that resembles it during the day, I wince and get a slight headache from the connotation that I need to get awake.

12. it would have to be louder than a smoke alarm to get my ass out of bed.
I sleep like the dead, sometimes thru smoke and tornado alarms. alarm clocks mean nothing to me. I need two, plus the one on my cell phone.
