Need good thoughts today. (work related)

So, I made a REALLY stupid mistake while working Saturday night. If there's enough stink about it, I could lose my job. I've been here for almost three years and considering I'm a high school drop out, I make really good money. I know things could be much worse, but if I get fired, I'm not sure how things are going to end up for me. I won't know anything until this afternoon, so a hug or two would be nice this morning. :scared:

try not to worry too much. I remember one time I worked at a second hand book store. I catalogued and then the owner asked me to do a list for the selling. I did one F* mistake and all the entires catalogued since the last back-up where gone. FUCK!!!!!!! I was so scared to tell him, but of course I had to. The owner reacted pretty cool. Since it was the end of me working there anyway (due to other reasons), we agreed that he wouldn't pay me the rest of the time I was there and that was it.

11. I don't know what you did, but consider this:

I worked in corporate security for a bank. Basically I closed accounts due to fraudulent activity. After just 3 weeks on the job I lost the bank over $14,000 on one account. I just knew I was going to be fired. I couldn't sleep all weekend and on Monday my boss called me into his office. This is what he said, "Since you're new and I don't think we covered that area during your training, we're going to let it go this time. I hope you learned something. Don't let this happen again." So maybe, just maybe what you did isn't as bad as it seems. Here's a hug for you just in case. :pals:
