I always use computers and I rarely wash my hands afterwards. Perhaps I should start.

and a couple of times a day put it on my hands and kinda swipe it over the keys.

Quite often I have to help people at work and use their keyboards. I go through lots of that hand sanitizer stuff, but I don't get colds.
