For my 1000th post, help me out with a question for John Edwards
So Edwards is coming to Harvard on Wednesday to talk to students. I might be able to go to a very small Q and A thing, and I need something good to ask him. I am scared that if I don't have something planned, I will say something ridiculous. Keep in mind that this is me, so seeing him is kind of like "Beetlemania" but much nerdier:

12. You hit your shoulder and head because you were worrying about
the chemistry test. You failed the chemistry test because you hit your head and shoulder. Isn't life symmetrical?

7. Maybe ask John Edwards if he would reflect on the --

-- priceless value of scaling Kilimanjaro with his late son Wade, in the year or so just prior to Wade's death.

--If he felt that Wade sensed the kinship of an extraordinary sacrifice (as many fathers often balk at accompanying their sons anyplace, nevermind Mt. Kilaminjaro)

--and ask him if he feels that his oldest daughter will also pursue a life in public service, as she seems to have her parents' almost luminescent personable qualities.

11. Ask what he thinks Democrats can do to get more evangelical voters.
He's a strong Christian, so he might have some ideas.

14. there is an event open to the public
at the Institute of Politics forum (Kennedy School) at 6PM. I might be able to go to an earlier harvard-only event that would have 30 people or so.
