Banned but not bad - waiting for the mercy of the mods to open the doors again.

10. I have never pooped on Pitt
or anyone else for that matter.

(It's possible I pooped on someone when I was a baby, but not since then.)

Sweetie, I would never poop on you.

14. Spinal Meningitis won't work
They would expect me to be in the hospital, and would want to visit. I need something a bit more low key.

That thread is funny. He seems to be able to start flamewars at the drop of the hat.

16. You SO don't get me parents
I mentioned at a Monday night dinner that I hadn't done my dishes in a few days. They took that to mean that I was depressed or something. They showed up on my door the next day with a dish pan, J-cloth, tea towels and soap. (I have all the supplies needed to wash my dishes.) This was when I wouldn't let them in my house.

I need to come up with a story that doesn't cause any worry.

17. oh - my parents would be the same way
...which is why i thought it would be a funny scenario to propose.

Ok. Tell them Gowan, Great Big Sea, The Guess Who, Loverboy, Gordon Lightfoot, and The Tragically Hip are going a big show at the GM Place and you have front row seats!

18. Gowan - you are digging deep
That would work on my dad, but my mom is a bit more hip to pop culture and local events.

I might go with something vague like dinner with friends or a birthday party or something. I'd rather not lie though.

22. Too many questions
You're going across the continent for a party?

Do you know these people?

From the Internet?

Do you feel this is responsible?

...you get the idea. The baby NEVER stops being the baby. And I'm the youngest of my generation on BOTH sides of the family.

24. You'd think I was barely out of my teens
Funny thing is - I really didn't hide anything when I was a teenager. "What did you do tonight?" "We went to a bar, and I didn't get ID'd."
