1. Eating a bucket of KFC is like nazis eating cooked Jews |
|
That's something of a message that I would imagine coming to mind with these folks. They really take vegan seriously. Actually, some Jewish groups in Germany sued PETA because they compared the treatment of, I think, poultry to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust.

A bundle of asparagus. The chicken was released into the Wisconsin wild where it was eaten by an un-spayed feral cat, which in turn died of a cancer resulting from pesticides sprayed on the asparagus crop.....

15. I like PETA - they are brilliant |
|
they took an issue that no one really cared about, animal rights, and made it into a major cause. Excellent work.
Progressives could learn something from them. They are highly effective.

24. It works in pushing the mainstream away from an issue that |
|

affects us all. PETA's cause should be able to draw people in, and educate them, not scare them into submission.
That's not effective. It's given the cause of animal rights a bad name.
Just an opinion, for what it's worth.

26. PETA is one of the reasons... |
|
... That most people think liberals are whack job radicals bent on anarchy and chaos.
I hear it all the time. I'm a liberal so I must be a tree-hugging, enviro-terrorist, animal activist whacko, anti-business socialist tax and spend big government nut case who wants to steal every penny from the middle class and give it to lazy welfare queens who refuse to work for a living.
There are just too many borderline insane fruit cakes on the left for my comfort. But at least they are more harmless (relatively speaking) than the borderline insane fruit cakes on the right.

|
Like it or not...they're always held up as an example of left-wing radicalism. Again they give environmental and wildlife issues a bad name

animals. You know, sinking the teeth through the dead animals skins, into the meaty flesh, through the tendons and blood veins, until the teeth stop at the bone, and then securely grabbing the bone, twisting it, until all parts of the animal are ripped from its boney structure, into the mouth, then swallowed. Yep, sounds real appetizing to me....:puke:
