What is the most you'll spend on your spouse or SO?

I'm asking because I just talked to her on the phone about how I went over my $60 on shoes and she responded by saying "Is my limit $60?" I told her she didn't have a limit and she said "Ok, just want to make sure. I don't want you to take me shopping and say 'No you can't buy that, that's over your limit'" We just laughed.

(This has higher dollar amounts then my shoe thread)

we did agree to a $200 limit on Christmas gifts for each other. We don't wear jewelry, so that's not an option for gifts.
