What to do, what to do.
Edited on Sun Apr-17-05 01:39 AM by illbill
How to deal with others jealousy? Keep calm, don't say a word? Deal with it by being forward? Or engage in the same antics?

Looking for a clever way to deal with friends who decide they want to have a problem with you./

Oh yeah, i'm in one of those "fuck everything and everyone" moods. :D

5. I just don't think a good friend should do that.

6. Do what?
You are giving us only conclusions, instead of facts.

What happened?

7. Ok..
A friend broke my cd player in my car (600)... he got me one for 80 and thought it was even.

I owed him 100 from before and said we should just cancel the debt and it would be even. He said ok.

A week later I hear that he has been talking about me to other people saying how I am an asshole for doing that etc...

It sounds childish but just came out of no where because I consider him a really good friend.

8. Depends..
Did you pay $600 eight years ago? Was the replacement of equal quality and features? How did he break it?

And it it sleazy to badmouth you behind your back. That would piss me off.

9. You call him a "really good friend"...
A 'friend' is a person, and almost never a perfect one.

A CD player is a THING.

so...thing VS. friend...plus $$ and slander on top of it all...

Sounds too much like POLITICS...AKA: "too much monkey business for me to be involved with."

I hope you can work things out and still retain your FRIEND.
5 years from now, you won't be missing any CD player.
