7. I live w/ my child and my parents (for the moment).
I have met another single mom who wants to move out of her low-income apartment. She just got a lead on a 3 bedroom house that might be opening up shortly. If she gets it we have agreed to move in together as a room mate situation. She gets a room, I get a room and the girls (the exact same age and they attend the same preschool) will share a room. Landlord is evicting the others (they have really damaged the house) so he has about 2 months worth of work. Plus, he said that he would be willing to forget about the deposit if we would do the clean up (very nasty), the carpet cleaning and the painting. Here's hoping that all goes well soon!

9. I'm single
and have been for 20+ years. My youngest son, who is 20 lives with me. We have a kinda couch-surfing roommate, who is on leave from school for a semester, staying until he gets a living situation figured out. He's 22. I have all manner of 20 something boys in and out of the house all the time. Mostly playing CS upstairs.

10. I live with my parents
I'm 24 and I moved back in 2 years ago after I lost my job. They helped settle my credit cards debt, and I'm paying them back. My parents currently get half of my income ($150 a week). I should be paid up in Sept/Oct, and then I'm going to move back out.

I've had one roommate, and it was pure hell, so I'll live by myself again. I have two cats, so I have plenty of company.

52. Hey, where is "other"?
Other - I live part time alone on a houseboat in Seattle and part time with one of my partners in Duvall, just outside of Redmond. Once a month, I go back to Austin to spend a week with my other partner, his wife and our child. In four months I will reverse that and will be living back in Austin with the aforementioned family and will be coming out to Seattle/Duvall once a month to spend time with my OSO (other significant other). Hopefully, a few months after that, my Austin partner will get a hardware job in Seattle and we will all be able move up to Seattle/Duvall to be one large, happy family, at which time I will no longer be single.

See, you really needed an "Other".
