It's Hayley Mills' Birthday
I had such a crush on Hayley Mills when I was in elementary school. Of course, it would never work, as she was too old for me. I saw "The Parent Trap" in a movie theater that, no matter which one it was, was torn down years ago. Sigh.

1. I saw Hayley Mills in a production of 'The King and I'...
about 15 years ago. Sadly, she sang a little off key in spots, but the neophyte audience didn't seem to notice. :)

2. I guy that I used to know was dating her a couple of years ago...
and may still be doing so as far as I know. I was reading a Sunday NYT article about her, and there he was!
I wonder if he ever thought when he was watching "The Parent Trap" as a kid...

3. I saw her in Pollyanna when I was 3 years old...
I fell asleep during the movie, though.

when I was in Junior High School. I went ape over her in the movie "Summer Magic", where she was especially cute.
