What mp3 player do you use on your computer?
I've been using Musicmatch, but the latest versions have been taking over my machine. I want to dump it and find a new player.

What do you recommend?

Thanks!

5. I used someones else's computer for a while that had iTunes loaded

and I found it to be very intrusive and arrogant. It kept popping up when I burned CD's, It would insist on loading and running even when I had another player running. Telling it that it was not the default did no good.

3. Winamp 5
And if you want to rip cds and convert audio files (assuming Musicmatch still does that stuff and you actually used it for that stuff) I recommend CDex.

4. Winamp
I don't know if it's the best, but I've been using it forever and it works for me.

6. Creative Mediasource (its better than winamp)
winamp tries to take over everything...and puts itself everywhere....
very annoying.

19. That's what I use.......................
mostly because its compatible with my Creative NOMAD .mp3 player (imagine that!). It has a pretty good .mp3 ripper, too. The only drawback is that it doesn't offer any cool visualizations like Winamp has.

8. AmaroK and WinAmp 5
I use AmaroK when I'm in Linux and WinAmp while stuck in Windows.

AmaroK is like iTunes, but better. :-)

15. iTunes
MusicMatch sucks now that you have to pay to listen to more than an hour of streaming radio.
