I actually got to see the Lyres, Scruffy the Cat, Treat Her Right, and the Dogmatics when they decided to come to the Northwest! Also Salem 66, the Volcano Suns,and Christmas, for what it's worth...

There used to be a club in Couer d'Alene, Idaho called the Rathskeller...that's the place where outside around the corner I got busted and thrown into jail for smoking a doobie!

9. I hung out with all those bands, dated some of the guys

Boston had a great music scene back then.

Speaking of the Northwest and Seattle, I saw the Wipers at the Rat in 1982 or '83. It was one of the best shows I've ever seen!

back to the 80s that is! :)

Oh yeah, I was lucky and got to see the Wipers a bunch of times...the best band to come of out of Portland ever!
