4. I moved like Harlow in Monte Carlo ... and showed 'em what I got ...
I've looked at "I've Never Been to Me" in a whole new light since I saw "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," and saw Hugo Weaving, as a drag queen, lip synching it ("I took the hand of a preacher man ..." was particularly well illustrated!)

I have the "Priscilla" soundtrack, and I have to say that I now sing that puppy at the top of my lungs ("I took the sweet life and never knew I'd be bitter from the sweet ... lalalala") whenever I play it. When "Never Been to Me" first came out, I was a young woman and had my whole life ahead. Now, I kind of understand where ol' Charlene is coming from.

So, I guess I'll have to give the thumbs-down to "Feeeeelings ... trying to forget my ... feeeeelings of love ..."

5. Oh my God!
Not "I've Never Been to Me". One of the worst ever. It would get my vote for the worst ever. Beyond bad. Way beyond bad.

6. "I've Never Been to Me"
I kinda like "Feelings." Maybe I'm just a freak. :freak:

I'm a lover of cheesy-cool songs (lots of seventies AM radio pop qualifies). "I've Never Been to Me" is not cheesy-cool in my view. It's just cheesy. :-)

7. tough call, but I've Never Been to Me has the redeeming value that
it makes for a good quote when intoxicated friends get a little too self-indulgently sappy.
