3. Fingermeat is not just for breakfast anymore. |
|
The National Fingermeat Council recommends three servings a day.

"I can get you a toe, Dude." Perhaps the police should check all her friends and relatives to see if they have all their fingers.

I KNOW how to get the information out of her;
Charge her with murder.
Treat the finger as a body, and I bet her lawyer comes up with the living person it used to belong to...

9. Just speculation, but from reading between the story lines.... |
|
I think she had an aunt die recently.
Sounds rather ghoulish but whittling off a finger with a pocket knife while sobbing over the casket is probably not beyond the capability of this woman. Then she could have covered her hand with the blanket.
It's workable too, because the woman's fingerprints were probably not on record if she'd never been arrested.
Once again, just my speculation.

10. I read that theft of saint's relics was common in the middle ages |
|
Someone supposedly bit off the toe of a saint when he was on pilgrimage and brought the toe home so his local cathedral would have an important relic to attract paying pilgrims.
Today, he'd just sue the church for leaving a toe in his communion glass.

11. Had it been a spine, we'd have known it was Senator Chafee's. |
|
He's been looking for that thing for a while now.
(Sorry, Senator, but we needed your vote on Bolton and you caved to the White House.)
