I'm allergic to South Jersey |
|
I go to school a mere 50 miles south of my home and though I am a seasonal allergy sufferer, I've never had allergies like this at home...I've been a snot faucet for about 3 days straight and I can't stop coughing because of the post nasal drip. I go home on the weekends and I'm fine, one night at school and BAM! No medications help me, I'm so miserable!!! The only positive thing is that I am done with school in a week so I can get out of this farmland uber-pollen hell hole!!!

1. I sympathize! I'm allergic to the Phoenix metro area. |
|
My mom lives down there, and I used to (and was generally running at the nose enough to be thought a meth producer. I went through allergy meds like most people go through kleenex.)
I can't go back.
Unfortunately, there's nothing to be done.... Only one more week!!

2. Phillip Morris has an EPA presentation on NJ to defend |
|
Edited on Tue Apr-26-05 11:38 PM by teryang
...tobacco suits brought by cancer victims who have lived in some places in New Jersey. Probably south Jersey is not part of it but your post reminded me of this multi million dollar dog and pony show.
The place where the plaintiff victim resides or works is designated ground zero. Hundreds of cancer causing industrial dump spots are plotted on the map within fifty miles of ground zero to show that just living in certain places in New Jersey is more harmful to your health than smoking for forty pack years. Then a scientist gets on the stand to discuss how filthy and dangerous it is to live in such areas in New Jersey.
The presentation may not be truthful but it is disturbing.
Phillip Morris changed its name to Altria to protect the guilty.

3. I know the feeling mine seem to get worse each yr...... |
|
hack, sneeze, cough, wake up coughing,it like a non stop post nasal drip concert going on. Its getting a bit better but then summer choking grass season will hit. I haven't quite figured out what stuff get mine going, but I zeroing in on pines, grass and flowering trees.
