5. Ever listened to Rhythm of Youth?
Edited on Wed Apr-27-05 08:43 PM by tuvor
It was much more substantial album than The Safety Dance would make you think.

Oh, look. They're still around! http://www.menwithouthats.com/info.html

9. Pop Goes The World as well...
fun fun deep deep... I loved Men Without Hats!

The vid for safety dance helped usher me to becoming a pagan as well. Though it was more of a ren faire with an awesome Maypole.

8. I actually bought one of their other albums
It wasn't too bad. Not the stuff of pop stardom. But I kinda liked it.

11. can we dance if we want to?
Can we leave my friends behind? Or was it supposed to be: leave my friend's behind? I never could figure that one out.

13. When my 3 year old daughter has to pee, she does the "PeePee Dance"
It is sung along to the music of "Safety Dance". I don't really have any words as I always make it up on the spur of the moment. I would like it noted, however, that my wife absolutely hates it when I sing it.

14. I remember that! It was a hit the fall of my
freshman year in college. We were all jamming to it in our rooms and in the dorm hallways, even.

21. It was on MTV when they first started up, or shortly thereafter.
They played it ad nauseum, along with a couple dozen others. This was when they were building their music video inventory, I guess. The other one they always played was Money For Nothing, which I really liked. I want my MTV!

A real pity MTV forgot what the "M" stands for...
