Why did Bush look down and study the podium each time |
before selecting the next reporter for a question. Is there a chart with different reporter's locations? Maybe a pronunciation guide for difficult economic terms such a deficit? Maybe a large clock? Perhaps a picture of Jesus or Carl Rove? What was on that podium? Any ideas?

3. previously, he's admitted during a press conf that |
there's a list of who he is to call on.
The very first questioner Bush "recognized" -- he did so while looking at the podium -- didn't even look at the audience at all, but said the reporter's name.

4. I don't think that is unusual for a president to call on a pre-selected |
list of reporters. I'm not excusing his horrid behavior mind you, but I think that is standard practice.
