Is bit torrent software bad for your computer? |
If I download bit torrent software would I be infecting my machine with spyware (as Kazaa does) or exposing it to potential viruses? Also, does using bit torrent expose one to legal liability in the same way that using Kazaa does?

2. it's not the software, as i see it: |
although i'm no computer expert: but the files you are "hosting" while using torrent. and it can expose you to legal liabilities. just having the program is good, because it gives you easy fast downloads: but be careful what you're downloading...

3. Doubtful that you would get spyware or viruses |
there is always legal liability when sharing copyrighted materials, but the odds of being noticed are much lower with bit torrent.
