Anyone Remember the old British Series UFO?
Carlton America has partnered with Pen Densham, Neil Kaplan and John Watson of Trilogy Entertainment Group (The Twilight Zone) to adapt the British SF series UFO for American TV, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

2. Oh, yeah
From my childhood.

IIRC, the earthlings had a moon base, an undersea base, and one other (I think). They used these dangerous looking 'fighter ships' to fight off the aggressive 'UFOs' that kept attacking for some reason or another.

I also remember the pilots had to slide down this chute to get into their aircraft (I remember thinking it looked fun as a child).

Those are about all the details I remember about it.

That was a British series? I think I watched it on local network TV in the Milwaukee area (if it was the same series we're talking about). I'm pretty sure that the show I was watching was called 'UFO'.

9. Me too!
I had a Dinky Toy of the SHADO tracked rocket launcher. It ruled! (On top of my Thunderbirds and Space: 1999 toys, that is. I guess I was raised by Gerry Anderson.)
