Screwed up syntax mix like a masochist's mix of perl and C stuff.
Still, it is so damn fast and once you get past the syntax easy to code in.
I love php.

but I found I could code everything in about half the time and half the lines in PHP. Might be slightly faster in Perl. What do you use it for?
