12. Sometimes
they are duped into believing that it is something else. In all likelihood, they were led to believe that this was some type of bacherlotte-type show, woo the woman and win. I'm sure it's all in the contract, and that's the excuse that the producers will hide behind, but it's still slimy. They know that people who sign up for these things aren't going to fully read the contract; think about it, who routinely reads every contract that they sign?

Hopefully, people will start realizing that many of these shows simply exist to cash in on embarassing people on TV, and only those who want to be embarassed will start signing up.

4. OMG that is disturbing!
I can see going as far as "The Joe Schmo Show" on SpikeTV, where this guy thinks he's competing for a big prize, but in fact it's all just a setup and the other "competitors" are actually actors. I saw it once and it was kinda dumb but relatively harmless.

But THIS? Hell yeah, those guys are going to be traumatized! That is just plain wrong.

7. Crap
So making fools of these guys and holding up a transs to ridicule is a ratings-grabber in limeyland?

Now I have another.

Whenever a pompous Brit would hold forth about their "culture", I would answer "eh, oh"(ala Teletubbies). That shut 'em up, but good.

(ironically my favorite sitcoms are Blackadder, Fawlty Towers and the Young Ones)

8. Wow,
I'm not even sure I could stomach watching that one. It's pretty low, but somehow, it was inevitable. I'd love to see the end moment when they reveal that she's a man. That would totally be worth it, the sheer terror and horror on the men's faces. I may be sick, but I'd kinda like to see a follow-up epsiode when their friends confront the guys about the show and mock them incessantly.

This sorta shit is exactly why I refuse to participate in any reality show now, you never know what the fuck is going to happen.

9. LMAO
Personally, I think it's hysterical. I'm not a fan of reality TV, but I would love to see the finale of that show :)

13. Have they never heard of the Jenny Jones Show?
I guess it's all just good fun (and ratings) until someone ends up dead....
