1. They're right- the Fenway Franks are the best thing on the planet |

When I went to Fenway last summer, it was dripping with humidity, it was painful to move. And I really, really felt bad for the poor catchers...they looked like they were going to drop. I remember being drenched in sweat every time I breathed. I remember the overpriced Dr.Pepper that in all probability saved my life. I was dying of thirst... And the best part-I remember wearing my Yankee hat and being offered beer by friendly Red Sox fans. ;) What a great ballpark. I hope they never tear it down...

Selling scorecards, popcorn, and peanuts at Fenway was my first job ever. It was great selling stuff in the box seats area and see Ted Williams, Mickey Mantle, Jimmy Piersall, etc. close up. I didn't make much money, but got to see all the games for free.

I still can't believe they put seats above The Monster, though.

I hope that Fenway lasts forever. As a person who fondly remembers Tiger Stadium, let me say that while new parks may nave a nicer veneer, they are not always better.
(I love that ESPN series of articles, I looks forward to it every day at work!)
