DAMNIT!! Do you folks know what your F******* turn signals are for? |
|
GRRRRR!!!!!!
I do not believe in the death penalty, but I think I'd almost make an exception for folks who have no clue about that handy little safety feature on all of their cars - THE FREAKING TURN SIGNALS.
I'm waiting to make a right hand turn at an intersection that not only allows right hand turns, but is wide enough for cars to go over to the one side and make them while the other lane waits to make a left (there is no forward on this street).
THE G*(* D*(&( STUPID F(*@)@ IDIOT ALMOST BLOCKS BOTH LANES AND DOESN'T USE THE DAMN TURN SIGNAL AND SAT THEIR FOR 10 F)#*&)q@ MINUTES WAITING TO MAKE A TURN.
Seriously - Capital punishment and no humanity allowed - torture them to death!
My driver's ed teacher taught me early about the wonders of the turn signal. When he asked for me to pull off to the side of the road so we could switch drivers, I pulled over and allowed another student to take over. My teacher then asked the new driver to please pull into to the Auto Shop down the road because he knew that Lynne (me) would never forget to use a turn signal and he better check to make sure they were not broken.
After the humiliation in front of 2 other students (because I confessed to not using them) I have never forgotten my turn signals to this day!
WHY THE F)(* CAN'T OTHERS DO THE SAME!!!

Before the road rage days, I'd honk and flip them off.
That's so inconsiderate and lazy. Like it's so hard to flip that little lever.
The only thing worse is old people driving for miles and miles with their blinker on!

2. EEK, I've followed those cars!! |
|
Not so much as the blinker but just the one turn signal! Why can't they offer a lasergun package for cars?

10. Many seniors don't get the aural cues about turn signals |
|
My dad doesn't, but his car gives him about 15 seconds to turn it off and then makes a loud beeping noise. He drives an Oldsmobile, appropriately enough.

...can you include something on proper rules concerning the YIELD sign? Thanks - that would do wonders for my blood pressure.
So I can't spell "yield"...:P

7. The re-education camp here in Ohio |
|
Ought to include a special session on how to behave at a freakin' four-way stop. Because every time I have to stop at one, I just wait for the dork who thinks all s/he has to do is tap on the brake and keep going, no matter who else was at the intersection first. There's one in every crowd.

16. What kills me at a 4-way stop |
|
are the nitwits who don't know when to go, so they just sit there until everyone else is gone. I'm invariably stuck behind these Einsteins. And then there are the ones who piggyback through by tailgating the car ahead of them through the intersection. And then the ones....oh, don't get me started.

6. I do, but I'm a distinct minority in that respect |

I use them for pretty much every move on the road. Others, including some police, don't even bother using them when they're executing moves that have a fair probability of terminating your vital functions.
It's a major peeve of mine. It's probably just as well that I don't pack heat on the road.....

the worst is when you're trying to pull out onto a busier street, and for a change, you have a good gap going on the right lane traffic in front, but there's one car, usually a SUV, coming from the left. then they just glide right into the street/parking lot you're in, blowing your entire chance of pulling out because they were too lazy to use their signals. this warrants an immediate middle-finger enhanced tongue lashing, and makes me miss my M16 a lot!

but many don't do that either. That is just plain common sense. Day before yesterday, followed a woman talking on a cell and using hand jestures with her other hand - she was in the car alone.

It takes 47 muscles to flip someone "the bird" and only 4 to operate a turn signal.

drove around here for years with his left turn indicator on, here being rural old jack was pretty much overlooked, but it is a pain in the ass when someone won't use a signal. A pet peeve of mine is people who won't wait the twenty seconds until I've passed to pull into traffic, causing screeching of brakes and rapid elavation of blood pressure.
